This historic home in Towson had unattractive asphalt shingles on the roof when the owner contacted us for restoral. After removing all the existing roofing materials, we installed uniform dark gray slates. But the sun room addition off the back deck needed something special. The owner chose Galvalume standing seam metal, in “Terra Cotta” color. The historic double-lock metal panels are maintenance-free, and the natural juncture of the metal roof meeting the slate roof was obtained easily with matching Galvalume flashing for a clean appearance.
