The old terne metal roof on this front porch had been covered with a fibered silver coating some years prior. Tiny holes had worn through the exposed metal in numerous places. Being a lower roof visible from the street, the homeowner opted for lovely new copper, in standing-seam panels to keep to the original architecture.
