The most common workmanship problem that we are called upon to repair after other roofers is incorrect flashing that leaks. The finished product may look the same, but the installation method makes all the difference whether you are leaking after a few years or not. Note our cuts made into the brick mortar (reglets); we cut these at least 1 inch deep to give the new flashing plenty of lip depth. The flashing is then shaped precisely for a perfect fit, and same-metal wedges are forced into the opening, holding the lip firmly into place but never causing metal corrosion. The final step, weatherproof caulk, simply covers the reglet. Unlike other local roofers, our flashings aren’t dependent solely on caulk to keep water out!
